It’s here! The 3,500-pound oven for Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza arrived this week from France. The new restaurant is expected to open in mid-May, said Lisa Esser, who started the business with her husband out of a truck and trailer in 2016. Papa Woody’s will be in the Jones 421 marketplace on North Phillips Avenue. The mobile unit will continue to run, and it will be out Friday downtown near 11th and Second.
